Classroom Without Walls

One of the true highlights of an APIS education is our “Classroom Without Walls” program.

These educational experiences focus on integrating what students learn in the classroom and apply to the real world.  The curriculum for these various programs range from academic to team-building, leadership, community service and adventure. Elementary trips stay close to home but as students reach the higher grades, the program allows them to become more independent, by participating in overnight excursions.  Recent trips have included studying fresh-water ecology in Khao Sok National Park, exploring (Grade 5 lanna culture trip)  and helping to construct a school as part of a community service trip in Ban Thaton near the northern Thai/Burmese boarder.
